Morgan Systems M-425 High Performance Bandpass Filter, 40 meters
Gain peak receiving and transmitting performance from modern transceivers and stop out-of-band rf energy from nearby transmitters with Morgan Systems high performance filter units. Practically an international standard of the top competition stations, government agencies, and disaster relief organizations, bandpass filters are used widely to pass only the listed frequency segments for which they are tuned blocking all frequencies above and below the passband.
High performance units are computer optimized 5 pole topology, thoroughly hand tuned for maximum rejection of nearby bands. Greater than 40dB of rejection of the next closest non-WARC bands is typical, with attenuation rising to over 65dB several bands away from the passband.
Use bandpass filters anywhere that critical single band performance is required, or where nearby transmitting stations cause interference to needed communications. Excellent for multiple-operator stations, contesting, field day, portable or fixed station use.
What is the difference between our high performance series and the legacy series filters? Need more information about the use of band pass filters? See our tech document on the subject, also available in the "tech" menu at the top of this page.
High performance filters are contained in a compact 4″ square heavy chassis. Units are rated for 200 Watts transmitter power. SO-239 connectors standard. Packaged with owner’s manual. Mounting footprint 4"x5".
